Filipino-German Christian Standhardinger will lead Gilas Pilipinas with other big men first-timer Ian Sangalang, JP Erram, Raymond Almazan, Beau Belga and Asi Taulava.

UPDATE: Philippines falls to mighty Iran

The challenge for the Nationals would be the 33-year old NBA veteran Hamed Haddadi, who led his team in earning podium finish in the 2018 Asian Games in Jakarta, Indonesia.

"It's going to be a very tough team," Gilas Pilipinas Head Coach Yeng Guiao said.

Tip-off time is at 8:00 pm (Philippine time).

Completing the line-up for the Philippines are Alex Cabagnot and Scottie Thompson, Paul Lee, Gabe Norwood, Marcio Lassiter and Allein Maliksi.

The Philippines, which ended the first round of the Asian Qualifiers with a 4-2 record, aims to become the first team to defeat Iran, which holds a 5-1 card.
