The Belgian-Filipina is also a stunner as she won first runner-up in the Ms. Mandaue pageant in Cebu back in 2016. She was also their school’s Ms. Intramurals first runner-up.

Theunis said that her inspiration to strive for the best in life is her parents. Her father, who was born in Zamboanga City holds a PhD in entomology. Her mother worked for a foreign research institute.

"I look up to him (dad) and my mom is also a smart person, she had a hard life and she was poor yet she was still able to graduate as cum laude and landed a researcher job. So I just look up to my parents so much and I also wanted to keep on striving to serve as an inspiration to my brothers as well for them also to keep on going,” Theunis said.

Theunis is among the 2,927 out of 4,230 takers who passed the Pharmacist Licensure Examination announced by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on Wednesday.
