As of press time, up to 7 victims were feared dead while 20 more others were seriously hurt after the attack.

Several areas in London are now in a lockdown after a white van bulldozed a group of pedestrians on the London Bridge at around 10pm (5am Manila Time). Witnesses state that a group of men alighted the van after running over the crowd and started to stab everyone in the vicinity while shouting “This is for Allah.”

Simultaneously, another knife-wielding gang surged at Borough Market and charged at the market goers.

One eyewitness narrated that the armed men entered a restaurant “slashing throats, stomachs and faces.” Some customers fled, hid in the basement and some fought back at the suspects by throwing bottles.

Based on reports, London Police has shot dead two of the assailants and later declared the incidents as “terrorist attacks” although no terror group confirms the ill-deed.

A third violent incident happened in Vauxhall, 2 miles (3.2 kms) from the London Bridge. Authorities however ruled the event as unconnected to London Bridge and Borough Market terrorist activities.
