Wonder Woman star Gal Gadot commends Paolo Ballesteros’ makeup transformation

MANILA, Philippines - Kapuso host-actor Paolo Ballesteros has once again wowed the world with his latest makeup transformation. This time, the 34-year social media star was commended by no less than Hollywood actress Gal Gadot for his Wonder Woman transformation.

Gadot, an Israeli-born former beauty queen who topbilled the blockbuster film Wonder Woman, shared the 45-second video of Ballesteros’ makeup transformation in her social media accounts, Facebook and Twitter.

Praising Ballesteros, Gadot wrote in the caption of her post: “Wow! This is incredible! Bravo!”


Gadot’s post on her social media accounts quickly became viral amassing over 8,500 shares on Facebook and more than 4,500 retweets on Twitter. Netizens also commended Ballesteros for his impressive artistic skill.


Ballesteros’s transformation video, which was shown in a livestream session in May, shows him copying Wonder Woman’s makeup look as well as the super heroine’s attire including her metallic-looking top, tiara and even bracelet.

With over 2 million followers on his Instagram account, Ballesteros gained online fame for his depiction of various local and international celebrities including Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, supermodel Tyra Banks, reality star Kim Kardashian, Hollywood actress Angeline Jolie, American singer Mariah Carey, and TV host Ellen DeGeneres.

International websites like MTV, Cosmopolitan and the Daily Mail UK have also commended Ballesteros’ viral makeup transformation.

His portrayal of Trisha Echevarria / Patrick in the award-winning film Die Beautiful earned him several Best actor awards from several local and international award-winning bodies including the 29th Tokyo International Film Festival, 21st International Film Festival of Kerala, 42nd Metro Manila Film Festival, Film Development Council of the Philippines, 15th Gawad Tanglaw Awards, Guild of Educators, Mentors and Students, Gawad Bedista Awards 2017, and the 48th GMMSF Box-Office Entertainment Awards.
