Room, School Assignment ONSA for October 23, 2016 Civil Service Exam CSE-PPT

MANILA, Philippines - (Updated October 22) The Civil Service Commission (CSC) has activated the Online Notice of School Assignment (ONSA) portal in two weeks before the Career Service Examination Paper-and-Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) which will be held on Sunday, October 23, 2016.

CSC advised examinees of their places of examination (school and room assignment) through the ONSA.
The CSC will conduct the CSE-PPT for Professional and SubProfessional levels in at least 54 test centers nationwide.

ONSA is now available via the CSC website www.csc.gov.ph (enosa.csc.gov.ph/enosav3/). It can also be accessed through the path (webapp.csc.gov.ph/ExamAssign/ExamAssign.htm).

To use the ONSA, examinees should encode or fill in the required data in the corresponding data fields accurately, following the indicated format.

Examinees are also advised to have a print-out of their Notice of School Assignment using ONSA.

Should you have any clarification, please visit or call the nearest CSC Field Office or you may call the Examination Services Division at (033) 321.1253.

If examinees cannot access the ONSA and/or still do not know their school assignment one week before examination day, they should coordinate and inquire directly with the CSC Regional/Field Office concerned. A complete directory of CSC Regional/Field Offices nationwide is available at the CSC website.

On the examination day, examinees should be at their assigned school early. Testing venues shall be open to examinees starting 6:00 a.m.

Note: GATES OF TESTING VENUES SHALL BE CLOSED TO EXAMINEES AT 7:30 a.m. Examinees that arrive later than 7:30 a.m. shall NOT be admitted.

CSC also emphasized that the “No I.D., No Exam” rule will be strictly implemented. For verification purposes, examinees should bring a valid I.D. with date of birth (preferably the same I.D. presented during the filing of examination; if I.D. has no date of birth, bring original copy of Birth Certificate), ONSA-generated notice of school assignment (if available), and application receipt with corresponding official receipt (if available).

Examinees must use dark lead pencils and erasers, and/or ball pens (black) in the answer sheets. Use of any aid in answering the test, such calculators, dictionary, cellular phones, tablets, etc., is strictly prohibited.

CSC said that the scope of examination for both the Professional and SubProfessional levels will include general information on the Philippine Constitution, Code of Conduct and Ethical for Public Officials and Employees (R.A. 6713), Peace and Human Rights Issues and Concepts, and Environment Management and Protection.

Failure to take the examination shall mean forfeiture of examination fee and slot. The rescheduling of examination date is now allowed, CSC added.
