The video shows the pivotal moments in the tough-talking leader’s life including him being portrayed as a young student promoting patriotism among his classmates, his presidential campaign, his first State of the Nation Address and his eventful meeting with Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.

The video also featured the former Davao City mayor wearing ordinary clothes and slippers while being interviewed by reporters outside his simple home in Doña Luisa Subdivision in Davao City.

Aside from Duterte, his former running mate Senator Alan Peter Cayetano and Philippine National Police Chief Ronald “Bato” Dela Rosa are also shown in the clip.

Duterte, in most portion of the video, was seen clad in leather jacket on a journey while carrying the flag of the Philippines with a golden eagle on top of it. He was also seen fighting several monsters that netizens believe to be illegal drugs, narcopoliticians and the media.

Impressed by the work of the animators, several netizens urged the creators to come up with a Duterte anime series they could watch regularly.

“This could be that anime series you look forward too in the afternoon or evening rather than showing "BAGITO"... This would be an amazing anime series lol i would watch this!!!” wrote Facebook user Jude Tan.

“I love how you showed our president through anime! Nice choice of song and amazing work of the characters features. perfectly done!!” Vanessa Canales commented.

“Amazing! Yung symbols nia all fitting. From the flying eagle up to the sunset with three stars makes you proud to be Filipino. Naaliw pa ako na yung mismong bahay pa ni Duterte nakalagay. They also accurately illustrated Delimaw, terrorists, drug lords and the Yellow media. :D Sana tagalog na lang yung song pero its okay para anime p din yung vibe.” Kristine Balanon wrote.
