Amira Medina wins Team Sarah Battles on 'The Voice Kids'

MANILA, Philippines - Amira Medina, who hails from Cavite advanced to the next round of 'The Voice Kids' Philippines Season 2, the sing-offs round as shown in the Saturday's episode of the hit singing competition.

Amira went against 'Rockoustic King of CDO' Andrew 'Andoy 'Patuasic and 'Pride of Dinagat Island' Owen Gonzaga in the battle rounds, performing Avril Lavigne's "Keep Holding On."

After their performance, Coach Lea said she like Owen due to his interesting and colorful voice but Coach Bamboo picked Amira due to his genre.

Coach Sarah picked the 'Daddy's Little Girl of Cavite' Amira though she gave some constructive criticisms to her.

There will be no steal option this season, the coaches will have only one chance to save their young artists.

The coaches had selected the groups of artists from their 18 artists team and the song they need to perform in the Battles.

After the Battles, vocal showdown of Team Sarah's top 6 artists will be featured in the Sing-Offs, which will cut down the team to its Final 2 artists.

The episode of The Battles on Saturday dominates online conversations with '#BattlesTVK2' among the trending topics.
