MANILA, Philippines - FHM officially revealed the list of 'sexiest women' in the country on Monday, June 22, 2015 as voting for the '100 Sexiest' has ended.
Jennylyn Mercado hailed as the 'sexiest' this year as she got a total of 1,017,586 votes, a little lower than Marian Rivera's total votes from last year (1,529,974). The Nation's Finest is consistently making it in the Top 10 of the 100 Sexiest in recent years and the three-time cover girl (January 2008, November 2009, and June 2013).
Mercado makes the jump from the fourth spot in the recently concluded FHM poll and ascends the throne, succeeding the Primetime Queen in the process.
The 'Sexiest Woman in the Land' grabbed the much-coveted top spot this year from No. 8 in 2011, No. 9 in 2012, and back-to-back No. 4 in 2013 and 2014.
The Kapuso actress took to Instagram shortly after the announcement to thank those who voted for her in the poll.
"Thank you so much to everyone who voted for me to be this year's FHM sexiest.... Sobrang nakakaflatter to be recognized as someone you consider sexy. Kaya to everyone out there, always remember that being sexy is not based on your outside appearance it's how you carry yourself. Feel confident in your own skin! :) #feelgoodlookgood."
Meanwhile, another Kapuso star and and first-time Top 10 finisher Andrea Torres raked in a total of 1,002,345 votes to secure the second spot.
Kapamilya actress Ellen Adarna finishes at the third spot with 901,234 votes. She outranked Sam Pinto by almost 100,000 votes. In fifth place, meanwhile, is Solenn Heussaff, who got more than 600,000 votes.
Other celebrities included in the top 10 were Angel Locsin, Anne Curtis and Jinri Park, among others.
According to FHM official website, it will release the complete FHM 100 Sexiest Women in the World 2015 list as supplement of July 2015 issue.
June 30, 2015 Update: FHM announced on Facebook that the July issue is now available in supermarkets, newsstands, and bookstores everywhere. Digital copies will be shared in the following days through FHM app and Summit Media Newsstand.
