LGUs announce class suspensions for Tuesday, December 9, 2014 | #WalangPasok

MANILA, Philippines - Some local government units (LGUs) announced class suspensions for tomorrow, December 9, 2014 (Tuesday) as Typhoon Ruby (international name: Hagupit) is now making rounds in the Philippine islands. The advisories were released through social media on Monday afternoon.

According to PAGASA on its 5pm update on Monday, Typhoon Ruby is now moving towards the Province of Batangas. The expected fourth landfall is in Laiya, Batangas at 6pm today and it will be associated with strong winds, storm surge and moderate to heavy rainfall.
