Philippine Bar Exam 2014 coverage of exam, schedule

The 2014 bar examination covers the following topics, popularly known as the bar subjects: Political Law, Labor Law, Civil Law, Taxation, Mercantile Law, Criminal Law, Remedial Law and Legal and Judicial Ethics.

The venue and schedule of examinations are not yet announced by the Supreme Court. However, exam is speculated on the four Sundays of October 2014 at the University of Santo Tomas' campus along España Boulevard, in Sampaloc, Manila. TheSummitExpress will update this page for the confirmed date and place of exam.

SC reminds that the listing of covered topics is not intended and should not be used by the law schools as a course outline. This was drawn up for the limited purpose of ensuring that Bar candidates are guided on the coverage of the 2014 Bar Examinations.

"All Supreme Court decisions - pertinent to a given Bar subject and its listed topics, and promulgated up to March 31, 2014 - are examinable materials within the coverage of the 2014 Bar Examinations.", SC said.
