Final results of the Game: Philippines 0-0 Singapore (Draw).

The fight between Azkals and Lions has been stiffer this time that no one even it's best effort failed to score. The match ended as the referee released the whistle after several minutes of  extension was given to them.

Singapore was in control in the first half of the game, with attacks from the Lions forcing Azkals goalkeeper Eduard Sacapaño to make several reflex saves.

Anton del Rosario‏@anton_delro tweeted to co-Azkals "Big shutout for the boys! A scoring draw away is all we need, but of course a win would be sweeter. Way to stay organized".

"Good game. We've been attacking, we deserve to score but we didn't score.", Singapore coach Amramovic said.

On Friday, Singapore national coach Radojko Avramovic said that they do not intend to leave Manila without a win. “It’s in our hands to let them (the Philippines) wait another two years to dream,” Avramovic said at the pre-match press conference. “It’s good we are in the semi-finals but our target is reaching the finals.”

However, Philippine team manager Dan Palami said that Azkals are in-charge of their destiny.

“Singapore has had a good run. And with full respect to Singapore, the Philippines intends to write their own history and we will have the result that we want,” he said. “We hope to get full points in this particular game.

“We know that Singapore are in familiar territory, they have been here several times already and certainly the Philippines will not be complacent in that quest, in that dream that has been elusive so far in (reaching the final).”

Philippine Azkals is composed of 4 goalkeepers, 7 defenders, 19 midfielders and 4 forwards. Michael Weiss of Germany serves as the team coach.
