RESULTS: H-O Passers, 2016 Principals' Test NQESH April 2017

MANILA, Philippines - The 2016 Principals' Test full results, which include the official list of passers for the exam conducted on April 9, 2017 in 18 regions nationwide, were released online on September 12, 2017 or within 5 months after the exam.

UPDATE: Only 388 examinees passed the 2016 Principals test.

Previously known as the National Qualifying Examination for School Heads (NQESH), the 2016 Principals' Test was administered by the Department of Education (DepEd) and the National Educators Academy of the Philippines (NEAP).

Passers of the 2016 Principals' Test are those who have met this criteria: total raw score of at least 140 points or 70% correct answers in the seven domains.

The results will also be available at the DepEd website: www.deped.gov.ph. Note that the individual Certificate of Rating (COR) of all examinees will be released though their respective regional offices.

Same with previous examinations, masterlist will not be publicly posted to ensure confidentiality of examinees' scores. Examinees may request breakdown of scores through a formal request letter to the Schools Division Office (SDO).

Request for rechecking of examination papers and appeal for changing of scores shall not be entertained by DepEd and NEAP.

ABOUT PRINCIPALS' TEST

The administration of the test is DepEd's mechanism to select school heads in the public education sector - a qualifying process for interested applicants to Principal I positions. It is being implemented in coordination with the Schools Divisions Offices (DOs) through the Regional Offices (ROs).

The recent NQESH covered 200 multiple choice items anchored on the role of a school head as stipulated in the National Competency-Based Standards for School Heads (NCBSSH) & 21st Century Managerial Skills.
