MANILA, Philippines - Popular video sharing site gathered the Filipino YouTube creators to celebrate their talents and connect with the community in the recently held 'YouTube Creator Day Manila' on Saturday, November 19.

Select YouTube creators had the chance to meet with other peers, learn best practices, get product updates, and preview what's in store for YouTube in the Philippines.

Vlogging pioneer Say Tioco Artillero who has started her channel in 2010 shared her tips and experiences on how she could inspire fellow YouTubers.

Being a popular YouTube for makeup and hair tutorials, product reviews, shopping hauls and travel videos, she has worked with a lot of big brands.


The Manila-based actress and singer-songwriter Hazel Faith performed her covers and original composition much for the delight of her fellow creators.

Hazel's YouTube channel features Tagalog covers of Korean songs. She’s branched out to vlogs, reaction videos, and uploading original songs as well.


With the smartphone market and Internet penetration in the Philippines grow every year, the watchtime on mobile is now over 55% and increasing by more than 95% year on year.

Since the launch of YouTube Partner Program in the Philippines in 2013, Filipinos have seen over 80 channels with over 100,000 subscribers, and 5 channels with over 1 million subscribers.

Globally, YouTube has over a billion users — almost one-third of all people on the Internet — and every day people watch hundreds of millions of hours on YouTube and generate billions of views

It is localized in 88 countries and can be accessed in 76 different languages, which covers 95% of the world’s internet population.
