PRC on Wednesday, August 17, announced that 20 out of 27 passed the Real Estate Appraiser Licensure Examination.

The second Real Estate Appraiser Licensure Examination this year was administered on Sunday, August 14 in the cities of Manila, all Regional Offices and Zamboanga.

The members of the Board of Real Estate Service who gave the licensure examination are Dr. Eduardo G. Ong, Chairman; Florencio C. Diño II and Rafael M. Fajardo, Members.

Starting August 26, 2016, registration for the issuance of Professional Identification Card (ID) and Certificate of Registration will be done on-line. Please go to www.prc.gov.ph and follow instructions for initial registration. Those who will register are required to bring the following: duly accomplished Oath Form or Panunumpa ng Propesyonal, 2 pieces passport size picture (colored with white background and complete name tag) and 2 sets of documentary stamps.

All registrants are likewise required to submit an original copy of Surety Bond for three ( 3 ) years (with certificate of good standing from the Insurance Commission), minimum amount of which is P 20,000.00, with the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) as Obligee. For government employees, no Surety Bond is required, but instead, submission of a notarized original Certificate of Employment showing that such appraiser license is an eligibility requirement of his/her employment from their respective offices.

Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said examination WILL BE ANNOUNCED LATER, PRC said.

The one-day exam covered the fundamentals of real estate appraisal and professional appraisal practice.

PREVIOUS UPDATES

In August last year, results were out online after 5 working days. 2,462 out of 4,731 passed the Real Estate Appraiser Licensure Examination.

In April 2016 exams, results were announced in 6 working days. PRC has listed 1,271 out of 3,794 new Real Estate Appraisers.
