Joshua Oliveros is 'The Voice Kids' Philippines Season 3 Grand Winner

MANILA, Philippines - Joshua Oliveros was named grand champion of ABS-CBN's hit singing competition 'The Voice Kids' Philippines Season 3 in the grand finals night held on Sunday, August 28, 2016 at the Newport Performing Arts, Theater, Resorts World Manila, Newport City, Pasay City.

The 11-year old artist from Hamtic, Antique won a two-year recording contract from MCA Music Inc., business package from Siomai House, house and lot from Camella and fashion package P2 million cash from H&M.

Joshua has delivered heartfelt performance that captured the viewers’ hearts. He received the highest accumulated number of text votes, 38.07%, from the 3 rounds of the Finals namely duet with the coach, upbeat song and power ballad.

Aside from grabbing the title, Joshua also gave Coach Lea her second win as judge on the 'The Voice' franchise and first for 'The Voice Kids.'

Other young artists who have competed in the finale includes Team Bamboo’s Justin Alva and Team Sharon's Antonetthe Tismo, 25.24 and 36.69-percent chunk of votes respectively.

The grand finalists performed the power ballad on Sunday as continuation of the competition. Joshua sang Yeng Constantino's "Salamat," Antonetthe belted out Regine Velasquez's "Pangako" while Justin performed Whitney Houston' "How Will I Know."




On Saturday, the grand finals performance nights has started with the young artists competed for the duet with coach and upbeat song rounds.

The results night on Sunday also featured performance from the popular loveteam KathNiel.
