Armstrong Miggy missing toddler featured in “Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho”?

Through a viral Facebook post, netizen Armstrong Miggy has revealed the possibility that he could be the two-year-old son a family has lost way back in 1997.

For almost two decades, Laurie Dollente and her family had been hoping to be reunited with her son Ernest Miguel or “Earl”, who was kidnapped from their house on May 27, 1997 when he was just two years old.

“Naglalaro sila sa labas ng ate niya, Ate Patty niya. It was around 4:30-5:00 PM, they were picking flowers. Binigay nila sa akin ‘yung flowers. Then he said ‘Love you, Mimi’. And then he wanted to get some more flowers. He asked his Ate if he could get some more. And then, so they went out. Little did I know that was going to be the last time that I’m going to see him,” Laurie recounted.

Left without a clue about the whereabouts of Earl, the family had no choice but to spend several Christmases and special occasions without him.

Now suffering from stage 4 lung cancer, Dollente is hoping that the episode could help reunite her family with Earl.

“I don’t know if they call you Earl, but Earl is your name. Please, Anak, Mommy is sick. Come back to us. That’s all we pray eh.”

#KMJS11

Moments after the segment was aired, several friends of Miggy contacted him to point out his resemblance to the missing toddler. Like his friends, Miggy, who learned he was adopted in 2012, had a strong hunch that he could be the “Earl” the Dollente family is looking for after seeing the missing toddler’s photos.

In his Facebook post, he wrote: “Pero ngayong gabi habang nag lalaro akong clash of clans, tinatawagan ako ng mga kaibigan at manuod daw ako ng jessica soho dahil parang ako daw yung batang hinahanap. At dali dali akong bumababa galing sa kwarto ko para manood, Nagugulat nalang ako sa bawat pag papakita ng larawan ng batang nawawala dalawang dekada na nawawala.”

(While I was playing Clash of Clans tonight, my friends called me up and told me to watch Jessica Soho because I have a resemblance to the missing child. I immediately went down to watch. I was shocked to see photos of the child who has gone missing for two decades.)
