Viral Carrot Man is now a product endorser

In its Instagram page, Boardwalk posted the highly-anticipated photos of Jeyrick Sigmaton, more popularly known as “carrot man” who became an instant internet sensation after his candid photos went viral on social media. The Igorot native was even spotted getting a makeover last month.

The handsome carrot farmer is seen wearing a hoodie embellished with small carrot designs on the sleeves. It could be recalled that Sigmaton was seen wearing a hoodie at the time his viral photo was captured by a netizen.

A photo of him wearing the creations of fashion designer Avel Bacudio was also shared on his Facebook page.

Reportedly, Sigmaton received P100,000 for his first endorsement deal.

On March 3, Sigmaton was given the opportunity to meet his idol Willie Revillame in his daily afternoon game show “Wowowin.” During his guest appearance, the 21-year-old Cordillera native became emotional as he spoke to Revillame.

“Yun naman ang importante, makapag-aral siya. Yun ang pangarap niya. Sabi ko nga mahirap talagang maging mahirap kasi nga una, nandoon siya sa Mountain Province. Pag may sakit doon usually babiyahe pa ng bundok. Ngayon mo mare-realize na masarap ‘yung may programang ganito pala,” Revillame told 24 Oras.

(That is what’s important, that he finish his schooling. That’s his dream. I even said that it’s difficult to be poor, because he lives in Mountain Province. If someone is sick there, they have to travel all the way down from the mountain. That’s when you’ll realize that it’s nice to have a program like this.)

According to Sigmaton, he was forced to stop from schooling at the age of 12 in order to help his family. Despite being a farmer for more than a decade, he still dreams of finishing his studies. During the episode, Revillame vowed to help the attractive farmer all the way until he finish college.
