“Blood, sweat and tears will take you there. But Joy, will take you further.”
A supervisor and a manager working for a international company have standard salary of over Php 100,000 net a month. This is surely a lot of money that can sustain an average family of five and can send his kids to a modest school.
The cars, house, stocks and diplomas of our chidren mounted on the walls make us say that our job is well done and it’s time to sit back, relax and savor the victory.
Victory will be sweeter if we mix hard work with passion and pleasure. An old latin saying: “Carpe Diem” or Seize the Day reminds us to make most of the present moment. It is because we really don’t know what will tomorrow bring.
Aside from the material achievements in life, building memories with our friends and loved ones adds motivation for us to persevere and double our efforts.
There are plenty of holidays in a year. Planning for a road trip and extreme adventures with pack culminates all the success in our career. Because we can never turn back time.
Our kids and peers will soon have their own families and most likely they will find it too difficult to find any time for an escapade. A simple family out of town bonding can bring joy that can mark a lifetime.
Relish the triumph with Johnnie Walker and take it even further.
