Here's the full text of the hoax news from Manila Link:

QUEZON CITY — After years of rumors surrounding his sexuality, Piolo Pascual finally had the courage to reveal the real deal.

In an exclusive interview with Manila Link, the 38-year-old actor who has been the subject of gay rumors for most of his career, confirmed that he has been in relationships with both women and men.

It can be recalled that Pascual was in a highly publicized relationship with actress and UN Ambassador KC Concepcion until it ended in bad terms in 2011. The said breakup was the talk of the town, sparking speculations that Concepcion found Pascual in bed with another male talent from their home station.

The actor neither confirmed nor denied this specific rumor, saying what is important is that he and his former girlfriend are now okay.

The two were recently seen smiling side by side on this Instagram snap by singer Erik Santos.

When asked if his son and ABS-CBN talent Iñigo knew about his sexual preference, the actor said that his son has always been accepting and supportive.

"He knows, kinausap ko before he even joined showbiz. Turns out, alam na pala niya. Kailangan na lang daw niya ng confirmation from me. I'm glad. I'm glad he accepts me."

Regarding the reason behind his admission of the truth, he says, "I don't want to hide anymore. Wala na 'kong pake kung ano'ng sabihin nila. [After] 21 years in showbiz, all I want is to be free and be with who I want to be with."

Piolo Pascual hints of upcoming project with Dawn Zulueta, reacts to criticms

On his Instagram account, Piolo captioned his post 'Soon...' signifying that his fans can expect of an upcoming project with actress Dawn Zulueta. The title of the show is not yet revealed. (November 15 Update: Piolo made his account on Instagram private.)

In February this year, Piolo has reacted to a basher who called him “bakla (gay)” on Instagram. “I hope your daughter (if she is) grows up to be a respectful person,” the actor answered to a comment by netizen (joydagz7252009) who commented on the photo saying, “The bakla Piolo hahajaj.”

In 2014, the Kapamilya star said he considered the criticisms as "blessings."

"Masayadong maraming blessings sa buhay ko para mag-dwell ako sa mga ganung bagay.

"They know the actor, the celebrity pero only a few people know the real person," he said in an interview with Pep.ph.

Does Piolo feel hurt by those saying that he is gay?

Meanwhile, Piolo's camp has no official statement yet on the viral satirical news. Note that the actor has been a victim of cyber-bullying for years due to gay rumors.
