AlDub finally have their closest encounter in the "Bulaga Pa More,Dabarkads Pa More" portion. But, it seems that there are just too many obstacles in the way of the lovers as Lola Nidora (Wally Bayola) once again opposed them being together.

The first meetup of Alden and Maine (Yaya Dub) generated a TV rating of 39.5% as compared to 8.7% rating of ABS-CBN's It's Showtime. TV ratings data supplier Nielsen TV Audience Measurement said that the GMA-7 noontime show emerged as the No. 1 most-watched daytime last Saturday.

#ALDUBBattleForACause hashtag also became the number one trending topic nationwide and worldwide beating record for its 5 million accumulated tweets.

Meanwhile, It's Showtime on Saturday featured the weekly finals of the newly introduced segment called "Clash of Celebrities." Giselle Sanchez was named weekly winner for her beatbox number.

AGB Nielsen reportedly has 1,980 homes based solely in urban areas that represent 57% of the Philippine TV viewing population.

Kantar Media, another TV ratings provider which uses a nationwide panel size of 2,609 in urban and rural homes that represent 100% of the total Philippine TV viewing population is yet to release the nationwide ratings data for this period.
