Manny Pacquiao reclaims WBO welterweight title against Timothy Bradley

With today's win, Filipino pride Manny "PacMan" Pacquiao reclaims the WBO welterweight title and improves to 56-5-2 in his career. Pacquiao won via unanimous decision in his rematch with Timothy "Desert Storm" Bradley on Sunday, April 13, 2014 (Philippine Time) avenging from the controversial 2012 loss.

Pacquiao (56-5-2) peppered the previously unbeaten Bradley in the MGM Grand Garden ring with an aggressive performance recalling the Pacman in his prime. Bradley fought back with counterpunching and elusiveness, but Pacquiao kept up his attack while Bradley struggled down the stretch.

Bradley has lost a fight for the first time in his career. He is now 31-1.

Olympic Gold Medalist and Boxer Lennox Lewis said: "The only difference in this fight was the judges got it right this time. Bradley is a warrior. Just not in Mannys league."

Judges Craig Metcalfe and Michael Pernick scored it 116-112 for Pacquiao, while Glenn Trowbridge favored the Filipino congressman 118-110.

MGM Grand Graden Arena on Sunday, April 12, 2014 (USA Time) was jam-packed with an attendance of 15,601.

Viewers from the Philippines may watch Pacquiao-Bradley 2 through GMA-7's delayed telecast of the fight. A replay of Pacquiao-Bradley II: Vindication is also set at 10:30 p.m. today after "Imbestigador."
