Complete List: Civil service exam results April 6, 2014 CSE-PPT passers released

The Civil Service Commission(CSC) officially released results of April 6, 2014 Civil Service Exam- Paper and Pencil Test (CSE-PPT) also known as Career service examination on Monday, May 19, 2014. Complete list of passers out of 200,000 examinees who got at least 80% average grade for professional and sub-professional levels are available here as released online.

CSC said that nearly 200,000 examinees took the Civil Service Examinations on April 6, 2014 in 52 test locations nationwide. Metro Manila (NCR) has the highest concentration of examinees with a total of 31,640.

86.49 percent or 171,684 took the Professional level while the rest tried to hurdle the Subprofessional level exams.

On May 27, 2012, results became available by second week of July 2012 or 7 weeks after the last day of exam. Meanwhile, results of April 2013 CSE-PPT were released in less than 2 months from the date of examination.

Passers of the the CSE-PPT exam must personally claim their Certificates of Eligibility at the CSC Regional Office/Field Office upon presentation of required documents. On the other hand, those who failed the examination may secure a copy of their Report of Rating through the CSC website. No Report of Rating shall be mailed to those who failed. To secure a copy of the Report of Rating, an examinee must key in his/her name, date of birth, examinee number, examination date, and examination type. Thus, examinees are advised to safe keep or remember their examinee number until receipt of the examination result.

The CSE-PPT is a general ability test designed to measure an individual’s preparedness to enter government service. Examinations are conducted every April and October. Passers are conferred a Career Service Eligibility, a basic requirement to obtain permanent appointment in government.

CS Professional Level examination covers the following subject areas: vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension, analogy, logic, and numerical reasoning for the Professional level.

On the other hand, the Subprofessional level covers vocabulary, grammar and correct usage, paragraph organization, reading comprehension, numerical reasoning, spelling, and clerical operations.
